Saskatoon CarShare Co-op has a Facebook Page

In 2011 members from the University of Saskatchewan partnered with We Are Many to create an Advisory Committee to develop a car-share co-operative. A more formalized Steering Committee was subsequently formed and members have worked over the past year to develop the Saskatoon CarShare Co-op, including submitting funding proposals and conducing a feasibility study. Steering Committee members include representatives from the City of Saskatoon, the University of Saskatchewan (Centre for the Study of Co-operatives, College of Education, Geography and Planning), the Saskatchewan Co-operative Association, and We Are Many. In July 2012 the Saskatoon CarShare Co-operative was officially incorporated, and hopes to be accepting members and operational before the end of 2012!
