Co-operative Solutions: A Forum on Housing Co-ops – Saskatoon, September 9

Saskatchewan Co-operative Association (SCA) will be hosting an information forum on housing co-operatives on Friday September 9th, 2011, at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel in Saskatoon.

The one day forum will feature a variety of speakers, such as experts in the area of housing co-operatives; and the forum will educate attendees on the fundamentals of housing co-ops, the housing co-op development process, and the role different housing stakeholders can play to encourage and develop housing co-ops in their respective communities.

The forum will be a great opportunity for community groups, government staff, economic developers, housing providers, developers and other housing stakeholders to gather together to network and encourage partnership in order to collaborate in the development of housing co-ops throughout Saskatchewan.
