The Co-op Ventures Worker Co-operative is federally-incorporated with offices in three Prairie provinces. Together, and individually, they offer a wide range of development and project management services. Some services are for training and co-op development. Others are initiatives and collaborations to strengthen and grow the Canadian co-op movement. Their approach is to leave all skills and knowledge in the community they serve.
April is a director of the Canadian Worker Co-operative Federation and the CWCF representative to CICOPA, the international Worker co-operative body. April is a member of a worker Co-operative that publishes two alternative newspapers in Saskatchewan - The Prairie Dog and Planet S magazine.
Chris is a long time co-operator from Manitoba. She has worked with the Credit Union Central of Manitoba, Arctic Co-operatives Limited, the Government of Manitoba’s Co-operatives Branch and is employed half time as the General Manager of Artspace, a heritage building run collectively by 20 arts organizations in Winnipeg.
Greg is a co-op developer with 25 years management and field experience in co-operatives. He is a Working Group Member for the Best Practices in Co-operative Development; a group organized by the University of Victoria’s BC Institute for Co-operative Studies. Greg has been president of the CWCF, an advisor to the CWCF Board and has management positions with several co-operative organizations including loan funds mandated for co-operative development.
