As an interdisciplinary research centre, the CCSC provides the co-operative sector, policymakers, and researchers with data, conceptual tools, and practical analysis to understand co-operative organizations and initiatives, and to develop them as solutions to our social and economic needs.

A future where institutions that are guided by the co-operative values of voluntarism, mutualism, egalitarianism, equity, solidarity, and transparency contribute to a democratic, participatory, responsive, creative, diverse, productive, and sustainable society.
